Community Survey:
As a community, the NER-AMTA aims to support one another during the COVID-19 pandemic. SBA:
- The Economic Injury Disaster Loan is open for applications right now and you apply through the SBA WEBSITE. There are two pieces to the application, one is for an actual loan you could use, and the other part is a check-the-box request to ask for $10,000 of grant money which you do NOT have to pay back. Even if you don’t get approved for a loan. Link to the application is https://covid19relief.sba.gov/#/
- Some info on the Paycheck Protection Program loan is attached in the 3 PDFs. This loan will become available for self-employed people such as yourself starting on April 9th. You should be ready to apply as soon as it’s available as it’s limited funds. You apply through your BANK and your loan amount is 2.5 months of your income and it can be entirely forgiven.
