Berkshire Hills Music Academy, a small private post-secondary school in South Hadley serving young adults with special learning needs who are musically talented, has an opening for a part time 1:1 position for a Music Therapist.

This position will be available beginning in May.

Applicants must have proficient accompaniment skills in piano or guitar and voice. Must be able to work with both groups and individual students. The ability to plan, organize and facilitate lessons is preferred. Daily documentation and computer skills are necessary. Experience working with students with significant special needs as well as autism spectrum disorders is highly preferred.

Must be willing to become CPR, First Aid, MAP certified.
