The Music Therapy Informed Music Listening Workgroup provides support to music therapists for incorporating, consulting for and educating about music listening programming for all populations. Information and resources for the workgroup are made available to music therapists through AMTA non-members and members area website pages, online CMTE course, concurrent and CMTE presentations at state, regional and national music therapy conferences. This position is great for you if you are available for periodic conference calls and are especially interested in dementia care.
AMTA is seeking 5-6 members from each region to serve as scholarship reviewers for 2020. There are eight scholarship categories for which AMTA will need reviewersduring 2020. Reviewers are provided with applications and rubric sheets to assist with the review of required documents, and typically have 7-14 days to review applications and return results to the Scholarship Chair. If you are interested and available to review at least three AMTA scholarships during the 2020 calendar year, please email me no later than February 20, 2020.
