Are you a clinician who is passionate about seeing music spark a positive change in others? Are you a creative, out-of the-box thinker, who finds joy in sharing clinical ideas with others? Are you looking for a place to help you grow? If so, Infinity is looking for you! Infinity has been recognized numerous times as a LEADER in healthcare and we would love to have you on our team! We celebrate team collaboration, self-care practices, and continuing education as cornerstones to our practice.

Requirements: This position requires a valid MT-BC or the ability to pass the exam within 90-days of hire. We would prefer someone with at least 2-years of clinical experience but we will consider new grads. This position requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record. A background working with IEPs, trauma-informed care, AAC devices, or neurologic music therapy will be an asset, but we celebrate continuing education, and we will gladly train the right team member. Having experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder, will be an asset in this role. Applicants must live in Connecticut or be willing to relocate to Connecticut.

Hours: We are seeking a team member to begin immediately. This position is a full-time position starting at approximately 30 hours per week growing to 40 hours per week. As our Mental Health Services Coordinator, you will have clinical and administrative responsibilities split throughout your work week and will be a pivotal person in the provision of mental health services in our practice. The work week will be comprised of direct in-person client contact, telehealth sessions, office hours for planning and documentation, team meetings, supervision, office assignments and administrative work, building community relationships, designing protocols for our mobile clinic, and traveling in between clients. This position will include daytime, afternoon, and evening hours based upon the needs of our clients. Sessions are generally conducted between the hours of 8:30am-7:30pm. In order to condense the driving schedule, some days may be 10hrs while other days may be as short as about 4hrs. This position is a Sunday-Thursday position but we are open to discussing a Tuesday-Saturday schedule. We do not believe in split shifts unless they are specifically requested by an employee. We try to offer some flexibility to an employee’s schedule. You should be working to live, not living to work!

Location: As our Mental Health Services Coordinator, you will have a primary region in CT for services (to be determined closer to higher). You will also attend virtual and in-person mental health collaborative meetings throughout the state with community members. Supervision and consultations will be conducted virtually and in-person.

Team-based Model: Infinity works on a team-based model. We believe in collaborating on cases and we utilize internal reporting procedures as well as team meetings in order to prepare to cover cases and engage in continuing education together. We meet together weekly to report on cases, engage in self-care and supervision, and we work together to deepen our clinical skill set. We have a supervisor on-call at all times so you never have to handle the tough calls alone. In addition, you will receive weekly supervision and can access the team for additional supervision sessions on a regular basis. We celebrate the diversity in our team and recognize that each team member brings a unique dynamic to the team. As the Mental Health Services Coordinator, you will conduct team trainings on mental health practices, will assist with student supervision, will collaborate with the Director of Services to improve policies and procedures to reflect a trauma informed care mindset, and will improve upon our current intake/ assessment procedures.

Salary: Wages are paid based upon experience as it relates to the position. This position starts at $20.20/hour ($42,000/yr) based upon prior clinical experience and related skills. We believe in bonuses and pay raises for dedicated team members and throughout employment, we have an open door policy regarding all aspects of the position, including pay and benefits. This position will be paid an hourly rate during an orientation period starting at $19.50/hr. Once orientation is completed (~90 days), you will be eligible to be transitioned to a salaried status. You will be paid for client contact time, data/documentation, planning, travel time in between clients, office assignments, etc. In addition to your base pay, you will be eligible for productivity quote bonuses and merit bonuses. Most clinicians average approximately $1800.00/yr in bonuses. In addition to your base pay, you will have an extensive benefits package worth over $6000.00/yr.

Responsibilities: As a member of our clinical team, you will be expected to provide individual and group music therapy sessions to children and adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, neurological needs, wellness needs, etc. You will be expected to write treatment plans, keep accurate data, write clinical reports, and ensure that client schedules are maintained. You will participate in treatment team meetings, assist with team functions including marketing events, and complete general administrative tasks such as keeping your time sheet and maintaining client budget spreadsheets. In addition, you may be asked to fulfill non-clinical responsibilities such as teaching music lessons or providing music enrichment groups. As our Mental Health Services Coordinator, you will design intake and assessment procedures for the practice. You will lead trainings throughout the year to better inform our team on mental health practices. You will report to community meetings to advocate for the use of music therapy within mental health and will bring information back to our team.

Populations/ Types of Sessions: Our therapists are LEADERS in healthcare, and we strive to provide high quality services for everyone we serve. The biggest populations served at Infinity include children diagnosed with Autism, Down Syndrome, and communication disorders, individuals with mental health needs, and adults with developmental disabilities within a group home or day program setting. We also serve older adults, provide perinatal music therapy, and lead workshops/ professional development within the community. Our services are spread out between in clinic, in home, in school (including IEP services), and in group home settings. We also receive referrals for adults in memory care settings, drug and alcohol rehab, and individuals without a diagnosis looking for music enrichment/ music lessons. Our sessions are evenly divided between group and individual settings. We provide services through the Department of Children and Families (DCF), IEPs, Department of Developmental Services (DDS), private individuals, and businesses.
