Part Time Instructor (Fall 2015)
An adjunct instructor is needed to teach the 4-semester Clinical Guitar course sequence in the Anna Maria College undergraduate Music Therapy Program. In Fall 2015 the teaching assignment is:
MUT 181 Clinical Guitar I 1 credit (50 min/week)
MUT 185 Clinical Guitar III 1 credit (50 min/week)
The basic goals of the 4-semester sequence are 1) learn basic guitar skills and repertoire, 2) become musically sensitive and expressive, and 3) develop clinical flexibility.
Salary is $900/semester for each course. Job Pre-requisites
- Knowledge and experience in the use of guitar in a music therapy setting is required
- Masters Degree in related field required; prior teaching experience preferred.
- The instructor may utilize the current syllabus, including learning objectives, or develop a new syllabus based upon the course description.
