Position: Music Therapist
Description: The Nashua Community Music School, located just over the border of Massachusetts in Nashua, NH is looking to add a Board Certified Music Therapist to our team. NCMS takes great pride in featuring a roster of distinguished music professionals who love to work with students of all ages. Our growing Music Therapy program is looking for a qualified Music Therapist who is interested in working with multiple populations and age ranges in individual and group settings. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable offering services in live and remote settings via Zoom. Special consideration given to those with experience working with clients diagnosed with emotional disorders and/or older adults.
Qualifications: The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy and completed 1200 hours of clinical training. Candidates must be Board Certified or eligible to sit for the exam. The applicant should have previous experience working with children, adults, or seniors. Candidates who are also willing to teach adaptive lessons are highly desirable.
